Gregory Taff is a research scientist, was formerly a professor of geography, and has developed a few small businesses. He loves travel, food, culture, and also playing piano. Gregory is American and currently lives in Norway. He has enjoyed traveling throughout much of the world for over 20 years. PurpleDinner is both a business and a passion for him.
Marsil Andjelov Al-Mahamid holds a Masters degree in Business Creation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Tromsø (UiT), Norway. Marsil is an art student at the Academy of Contemporary Art at UiT and has been involved in several start-ups. Marsil has a real passion for traveling and meeting local people. Fusing art and business brings excitement to Marsil in the further development of PurpleDinner.
John-Fredrik Solberg works as the marketing director for a restaurants group in Tromsø, Norway. In addition to his education as a trained waiter and more 15 years in the restaurant business, he has a Master’s degree in Business Creation and Entrepreneurship. He has also worked with user-experience in E-health applications. Food is important to John-Fredrik, and he loves putting different tastes together in combination with good drinks, especially beer – one of his great passions. John-Fredrik’s interest in food and drinks has led to his excitement about his past and current careers in the food industry and PurpleDinner.
